On June 25, the WELL 2025 Series in Macau, held at MGM COTAI, brought together over 150 professionals for a day of fresh perspectives and inspiring ideas under the theme “From Space to Experience: Exploring People-Centric Sustainability in Hospitality.”
Ms. Xue Ya, President of IWBI Asia, started the event with a warm opening speech. She pointed out that under the guidance of the WELL concept, hotels are not only a harbor for travelers to rest, but also an important place to connect the city’s vibe and convey health values. The fresh air, the gentle light, the purity of water, and the inclusiveness of space…are gradually becoming the most moving language in space design.
Leaders from government, industry associations, and the business sector joined the event, making it not only a platform for dialogue but also a shared commitment to shaping healthier, more sustainable lifestyles.
A key highlight was the WELL certification ceremony. Four locations under MGM received WELL Health-Safety Rating and WELL Health Parity Rating at the same time, demonstrating its continuous efforts and far-reaching vision in promoting healthy spaces and corporate care.
Adding a fun and mindful twist to the day, the “WELL Movement” session encouraged attendees to participate in light stretching, breathing, and rhythm exercises—an energizing reminder that wellness can be simple, joyful, and integrated into our everyday lives.
From global perspectives to local practices, from sharing ideas to actual practice, the WELL 2025 series of activities in Macau witnessed the industry exchange focusing on health and sustainability ! “People-oriented” is not just a slogan!
